Jonas Faukman was Robert Langdon's editor from New York. He makes an appearance in The Da Vinci Code, The Lost Symbol, and Inferno usually by giving Langdon something he needs desperatelly. However, he doesn't appear in any of the films.
His name is an anagram of Dan Brown's own editor, Jason Kaufman.
